I am a wife, an adoring mother to our son (born 9/9/10) and to our daughter (born 11/29/16), a loving daughter, a loyal friend, a nature lover, a fitness enthusiast, a traveler, an optimist, etc. I see life as vibrant, rich, and complex and I want to experience ALL OF IT with an open heart and balanced mind. Sometimes I am snarky and I can do a good rant, too. I collect hoyas and turquoise. I routinely try out new things often that are in the name of attempts at new hobbies and wellness. I put a lot of LIVIN' into life...

I was born and raised in Cajun country, but we have been rooted in las Vegas for a long time. I enjoy saying that I am Cajun by birth, a Southwestern transplant by choice, and I am happiest with hands in the dirt.

For 45 years, I lived as an only child with my adoptive parents. In 2017, I jokingly took an ancestry.com test to find out more about my ethnicity. Accidentally, this led me to finding my birth parents. In addition to gaining birth parents, I gained 7 brothers on my maternal side and 2 brothers + 1 sister on my paternal side. I have beaucoup nieces and nephews + tons of cousins. At 45 years of age, my life change drastically in ways that are so incredibly rich and complicated and beautiful.
